I know that this movie is rated PG-13. However, I was very surprised by the amount of foul language in this movie.

Thoughts about the story line

    I am not aware of a single movie made with Jet Li that I would recommend to anyone. This one is no different, Jet Li did more breathing fire than talking in this movie. However, I can't help but believe that the small amount of foul language was encouraged by his presence in the movie.

    Brendan Fraser

    There is a theme of sorcery and witchcraft in this movie. It is bereft of the typical Chinese folklore about many gods fighting and warring and creating the pool of water which is fabled to give immortal life.

    There is one reference to the timeline of the mummy being before CHRIST.

I would not recommend this movie to anyone at all.
